What We Stand For
The Statesman’s Forum does not seek perfect men — because no man is perfect. We seek men who are moving in the right direction. These thirteen core values define that direction. They are arranged as a progressive journey — each one building on the last, moving from the foundation of faith inward to transformation, then outward to legacy.
01 Faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
Everything begins here. A man rooted in Christ, submitted to His lordship, transformed by His grace. Without this anchor, everything else is behavior modification.

02 God’s Presence & Godly Conscience
Understanding God is always watching. Building an internal moral compass grounded in truth and His principles. A man who lives before God leads differently than a man who performs for men.

03 Living from the Heart
Motivated by a heart aligned with God. Out of the heart come the issues of life. His faith is not performance — it flows from an authentic heart surrendered to God.

04 Spiritual Warfare & Authority in Christ
Understanding spiritual battle is real. Equipped with the full armor of God. Operating in authority through Christ’s blood, testimony, and angelic protection — overcoming every attack of the enemy.

05 Forgiveness
The ability to release offense and bitterness, freeing himself and others. A man who holds onto bitterness poisons everything he touches. A man who forgives walks in freedom.

06 Wisdom & Boundaries
Understanding limits and protecting what matters most. Knowing when to say no. A wise man guards his time, his energy, and his calling from what would drain or distract.

07 Vision for Life
Called and intentional direction. Not drifting, but moving with purpose toward God’s calling. A man with vision knows where he is going and why — and leads others there.

08 Heritage
Honoring the spiritual and civic inheritance entrusted to us by those who came before. Studying the early Church, biblical history, and the principles that shaped America’s founding. Stewarding that legacy with gratitude, discernment, and a commitment to pass it faithfully to the next generation.

09 Family Leadership
Faithful husband, engaged father, leading children biblically. Being the spiritual head of his home. A man blessed in his family leads his household as a calling — not an afterthought — knowing faithfulness flows to the third and fourth generation.

10 Stewardship
Everything belongs to God. We are managers, not owners — of resources, time, influence, and family. This changes everything about how a man leads his business, his family, and his public service.

“And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?”
11 Generosity
Freely giving to others as God has blessed us. Not obligation — overflow. A man who understands stewardship naturally becomes a giver who responds to need without hesitation.

12 Sanctity of Life
Pro-life conviction. Opposition to abortion and suicide. God alone creates and takes life. Every human being bears the image of God and has infinite dignity and worth from conception to natural death.

13 Evangelism, Discipleship, Legacy & Reproduction
The ultimate expression. Making disciples. Fulfilling the Great Commission. Reproducing himself in other men. Leaving a lasting legacy that multiplies through generations — not just what he built, but who he built.

These are not requirements for the perfect man. They are the direction of a man who is walking with God — imperfectly, faithfully, progressively, and with purpose.
