The Statesman’s Brotherhood Covenant

The Statesman’s Forum believes biblical brotherhood is more than friendship or fellowship. It is a commitment among men to encourage one another toward maturity in Jesus Christ and greater faithfulness in our families, churches, workplaces, communities, and spheres of influence.

As brothers, we commit ourselves to these principles:

1. We Put Christ First

Our brotherhood exists to draw men toward Jesus Christ—not toward personalities, organizations, or dependence upon another man.

2. We Listen Before We Speak

We give another man the dignity of being heard and seek understanding before offering correction, counsel, or judgment.

3. We Speak the Truth in Love

We will be honest with one another, even when truth is difficult, while extending the grace we ourselves have received.

4. We Encourage God-Given Purpose

We encourage men to discover, develop, and faithfully pursue the responsibilities and calling God has entrusted to them.

5. We Honor Appropriate Boundaries

Biblical brotherhood respects marriage, family, church leadership, personal responsibilities, confidentiality, time, and appropriate relational boundaries.

6. We Practice Accountability

We give trusted brothers permission to ask difficult questions, challenge inconsistency, encourage obedience, and call us toward biblical integrity.

7. We Admit When We Are Wrong

Statesmanship requires humility. We confess our failures, seek forgiveness when necessary, make things right whenever possible, and continue growing.

8. We Celebrate One Another

We reject jealousy and competition. We rejoice when another brother succeeds, grows, overcomes, or advances in his God-given calling.

9. We Stand Together in Adversity

Brotherhood becomes especially important when life becomes difficult. We pray, encourage, support, and carry one another’s burdens.

10. We Strengthen Families and Churches

The Statesman’s Forum does not seek to replace a man’s family or local church. Biblical brotherhood should make a man more faithful as a husband, father, grandfather, churchman, neighbor, and servant.

11. We Protect Trust

We reject gossip, unnecessary disclosure, manipulation, humiliation, and the misuse of personal information shared within trusted relationships.

12. We Develop Men Rather Than Create Dependence

A Statesman Guide does not build followers of himself. He helps develop followers of Jesus Christ who increasingly walk in biblical maturity, responsibility, and spiritual leadership.

13. We Reproduce Biblical Brotherhood

What God develops in us should not end with us. Mature men invest in other men so that biblical faithfulness can be passed from one generation to the next.

“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2

Our Brotherhood Commitment

Reach → Root → Release → Reproduce

We Reach men with the truth of Jesus Christ.

We Root men in biblical truth, spiritual maturity, integrity, and brotherhood.

We Release men to faithfully serve and lead within their families, churches, workplaces, communities, and spheres of influence.

We Reproduce by equipping mature men to invest in other men—developing disciples who will disciple others.

Brotherhood Is Not the Destination. Multiplication Is.

The Statesman’s Forum exists to develop men who increasingly reflect the character of Christ, faithfully carry the responsibilities God has entrusted to them, and intentionally invest what they have received into the lives of other men.
