HOW IS THE STATESMAN'S FORUM DIFFERENT FROM A TYPICAL BIBLE STUDY?
A Bible study primarily teaches Scripture. The Statesman's Forum develops men through Scripture.
Knowledge matters—but knowledge alone is not the goal. Transformation is.
The Statesman's Forum combines biblical teaching with intentional discipleship, authentic brotherhood, accountability, servant leadership, and spiritual multiplication. Our goal is to develop mature disciples of Jesus Christ whose faith is demonstrated in how they live, lead, serve, and influence others.
A Bible study teaches God's Word. The Statesman's Forum helps men become the kind of men God's Word calls them to be.
WHY THE STATESMAN'S FORUM EXISTS
According to Barna's research, only 1% of church leaders believe that today's churches are doing "very well" at discipling new and young believers. In a nation filled with churches, even those leading them acknowledge a sobering reality: many converts are being made, but too few disciples are being formed.
As a result, many Christians attend church yet lack the biblical grounding, mentoring, accountability, and spiritual maturity needed to stand firm in an increasingly hostile culture. Without intentional discipleship, faith becomes vulnerable to society's shifting values rather than being anchored in the truth of God's Word.
This is why a biblical worldview matters. It teaches believers to see every aspect of life through the lens of Scripture—shaping how we understand God, truth, identity, marriage, family, work, leadership, government, justice, and our responsibility as citizens and ambassadors of Christ. In a culture that asks, "What feels right?" discipleship teaches us to ask, "What does God say?"
Jesus did not merely call us to make converts; He commanded us to make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20). The Apostle Paul echoed this mandate:

"What did you do with My Son?"
This is the foundational question. Everything begins and ends here. No amount of service, leadership, or stewardship can substitute for a personal surrender to Jesus Christ.

"How did you treat the least — and the little ones?"
This question reaches beyond the vulnerable and marginalized. It extends directly to baby Christians — new believers who need mature men to feed, protect, and disciple them into the faith.

◇ Statesmen are called to be spiritual fathers, not just peers
◇ A mature man measures his growth by who he is raising up

"What did you do with what I gave you?"
God distributes gifts, influence, time, and resources differently to every man. He does not demand equal results — He demands faithful action. The buried talent is the tragedy.
